Myrinix- Digital Home Edition is a Linux based LIVE CD that is aimed to be a smart and centerized OS which can be implemented at home. Imagine you have a High Definition Plasma TV or a big LCD screen that connect to a server and you can record and play DVD from the server and surf internet with big screen. Video sharing using NX technology is also possible where you can play and watch different movies using different PC or PDA at home. With the help of the NX technology, you can have a diskless PC that connects to the server directly to share applications and files. The server can play the movie(s) on your Plasma TV while you are writting document(s) with OpenOffice using a diskless PC that is connected to the server.
